We have diverse experience in a wide range of B2B and B2C industries. Usually people ask us this question because they believe that they are so different that no one could successfully market their business without prior experience. We succeed in these situations because sales and marketing is about your customers. All customers have predictable thought patterns, behaviors, attitudes as well as motivation, which we can research, detail, analyze and creatively use to influence how they engage with your company. WHICH TACTICS WILL GET THE RESULTS I WANT?

That’s a loaded question. We’re operating under the assumption that tactics by themselves will give you the results you want. Tactics need to be informed by a strategy, otherwise you’re throwing spaghetti at a wall and seeing what sticks (and that’s some expensive spaghetti).

HOW DO I ENGAGE WITH YOU?

You can engage us on an hourly, project, or retainer basis. “Retainer” just means that we have an ongoing engagement with a specific, revolving (and evolving) Statement of Work (whatever the dollar amount).

WHAT WILL IT COST?

In order to give you an accurate estimate, we’d have to know what you’re looking to accomplish, your timeline, and your budget if you have one. For example, we don’t have a set price that we quote to design and develop a website because every client has significantly different needs and goals.

WHO WILL WORK ON MY PROJECTS?

There’s a good chance everyone you see on our team page will work on your account at some point. You will always work with either Jen or Fox, and one of our account managers. You’ll probably like Rob the best. Clients always love him.

WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR AD SPEND?

The amount you spend on advertising should be determined by multiple factors including your goals, your budget, your timeline, your audience as well as which digital & traditional advertising tactics you employ. We call bullshit on the idea that there’s a set formula to follow for determining an advertising spend that works for everyone. Our goal is to be as efficient as possible with your money.

WHAT PERCENTAGE OF MY DIGITAL AD SPEND DO YOU CHARGE?

Zero. Nada. Zip. Zilch. We think that’s unethical way to bill digital marketing because it incentivizes the agency to get you to spend more rather than work to make your campaigns save money. Our agency fee will be an hourly or fixed fee based on the scope of work for your campaign(s), not based on what your are spending on ads. Learn more about what we don't do.

CAN YOU GET ME TO #1 ON GOOGLE?

Maybe. There’s a good chance there are other tactics that are more cost-effective and will get results faster. First, we’ll look at the search volume for what you want to be found for to see if SEO is worth doing. If getting you to the number one spot is the best way to get you the results that you need, Fat Atom will get you there. It’s not cheap, fast, or easy, and you should run screaming from any vendor who claims otherwise. If you need it, we can help you determine how to fit SEO into your overall strategy in a way that fits your budget and goals.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE ROI?

That depends on what marketing activities you’re trying to measure. Digital advertising, branding, lead generation, trade shows? All of these are going to be measured differently, not to mention that the value to your company will be unique based off of your goals, budget, investment and timeline.

HOW DO YOU MEASURE SUCCESS?

What are your goals and/or problems? We aren’t strictly a branding house, we aren’t just a website agency and we aren’t only a digital marketing firm. If you come to us with a marketing problem or a goal you want to achieve, then our job is to creatively solve that problem or help you reach that goal, and that’s what would mean success.

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR WEBSITE HOSTING?

We don’t sell website hosting, however we will recommend hosting to you based on your needs, and can help you set it up. You pay the hosting provider directly.
