A group of medical experts turned to Fat Atom to learn how to first take care of themselves with a marketing strategy, in order to provide care to more patients.
In early 2015 the CEO of Obstetrics & Gynecology of Indiana (OBGI) sought to change his organization by growing brand awareness and boosting patient numbers. They needed a new website because their existing site was too hard to update and content had become outdated. CEO Tim Dykema reached out to Fat Atom to explore what we could do for OBGI as a marketing partner.

Fat Atom designed and developed a new website that is patient-centric, mobile-responsive, and easy to update.
We recommended that OBGI add a physician liaison to their staff. We sat in on interviews and helped pick the final candidate, who was promoted to marketing director!
OBGI saw the power of marketing and understands its value for their organization. Now with an in-house Marketing Director, they continue to move forward toward their goals. We are proud of the role we played in showing OBGI the benefits of strategy, as well as the work we completed alongside their team!
Fat Atom met with Tim to determine where OBGI currently stood in regards to marketing, and to understand his vision for the organization. We then met with practice managers to find out what their biggest perceived challenges and opportunities in marketing were. It became clear to all stakeholders that a holistic marketing strategy followed by consistent marketing execution was what the doctor ordered. The gap process helped gain alignment on what was needed in order for the organization to move to the next level and be in a strong position for future growth, given the planned addition of several new locations.
After the gap analysis, OBGI decided to go through Fat Atom’s Blueprint process. Within 100 days, Fat Atom completed the entire operation.
