Lots of questions. No, seriously, not like when most agencies say they are going to ask you lots of questions. We mean LOTS of insightful questions asked for the purpose of understanding your goals.
Free advice. Whether you end up hiring us or not, you’ll come out of our sales process with solid advice and possibly a few ideas you could implement without us.
Energy! You’ll feel all charged up about the opportunities in front of you.
Partnership. You’ll find that you can ask us anything and we’ll give you the answer you need, not the answer that makes us more money or the answer we think you want to hear. Partnership at Fat Atom is about doing what’s in your best interest!
Recommendations for next steps with no pressure. There are no high-pressure, commission-based sales people here.

DO YOU WORK WITH B2B?
Yes! We've worked with B2B companies in technology, construction, and industrial.
DO YOU WORK WITH B2C?
Yes! We’ve worked with companies in home services, health care, education, and real estate.
I ALREADY HAVE AN IN-HOUSE TEAM, WILL YOU WORK WITH THEM?
Of course! Several of our clients have had in-house marketing teams that we were happy to work with directly.
CAN I KEEP/USE MY PREFERRED VENDORS?
Of course. Our goal isn’t to displace anyone. Good vendor relationships are hard to come by so when you have a good thing, it might be wise to keep it! Our ambition is to help you reach your goals and help you solve your marketing problem(s).
HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?
How often do you want to meet? This heavily depends on our engagement and distance. We can meet via phone, Skype, Google Hangouts, Facetime, or in person. Our clients don’t find distance to be a barrier to our relationship.
WHO WILL WORK ON MY PROJECTS?
There’s a good chance everyone you see on our team page will work on your account at some point. You will always work with either Jen or Fox, and one of our account managers. You’ll probably like Rob the best. Clients always love him. See the team.
DO YOU DO WEBSITES?
All the time. You’ll be happiest with the finished product if you start with a website strategy. Where does your website sit in your sales process? How do your website visitors use your website, or want to use your website? Is it used for lead generation, eCommerce, education? We’ll help you create the right website, not just one that looks pretty.
HOW DO I FIND OUT IF FAT ATOM IS A GOOD FIT FOR MY NEEDS?
Good question, we’re definitely not right for everyone. We’re looking for the right clients ourselves. Let’s start with a quick phone call to quickly see how we both feel. If it feels right, we’ll probably move on to a complementary gap analysis, or in some cases jump right into project work.
HOW DO YOUR RETAINERS WORK?
Retainers ultimately save you money and time. We like them because they free us up to just do whatever needs to be done to succeed without additional contracts. Clients like them because they know what they are paying every month and there are no surprises on the invoice. Whenever possible, 3rd party fees are billed directly to you, not passed through our agency.
WHAT PERCENTAGE OF MY DIGITAL SPEND DO YOU CHARGE?
Zero. Nada. Zip. Zilch. We think that’s unethical way to bill digital marketing because it incentivizes the agency to get you to spend more rather than work to make your campaigns save money. Our agency fee will be an hourly or fixed fee based on the scope of work for your campaign(s), not based on what your are spending on ads.
WHAT WILL IT COST?
In order to give you a better estimate, we’d have to know what you’re looking to accomplish, your timeline, and your budget if you have one. For example, we don’t have a set price that we quote to design and develop a website because every client has significantly different needs and goals.
